Daylight Saving is here- and there's still loads of great riding at Kessler even w/ the current closure of Rock City. Come out and ride Crazy Mary, Serpentine, Spellbound, Western Myth, and perhaps some Eggbeater, Trent, and even Wino.
We will try to get the rockier technical trails in before dark.
Introducing the #OORC's Tuesday Night Ride Series (NRS)! This weekly series will feature trail systems in and around the Fayetteville area and target 2 hours of bike time at a medium pace with regroup points at intersections. We'll look to keep the NRS going throughout Ol' man Winter and beyond.
From our several winters of night riding experience on technical trails, we can say without hesitation that everyone should use 2 lights. With 2 lights you have a back-up incase 1 light fails. You will also drastically improve your depth perception by using 2 lights. By putting one light on the bars, and one on your helmet, you create 2 shadows which provides depth.
This week... Mt. Kessler! This ride is intermediate to advanced and we just ask that participants ride within their skill level.
We'll meet at the Regional Park Trail Head off Cato Springs Rd.
Email our ride organizer Vincent Edwards () if you have questions!
