The Ozark Off Road Cyclists will be hosting a volunteer trail build opportunity at Lake Fayetteville on Sunday Morning February 17th from 9am-1pm.
This volunteer opportunity is open to all trail users, families, members, and friends.
No experience necessary to leave a lasting impact on one of the most popular multi-use trail systems in the Region. Hikers, cyclists, trail runners and dog walkers will all benefit from your efforts.
Group efforts will focus on establishing a sustainable trail head and entrance into the trail system from the Veterans Memorial Park Trail Head, and the armory of the boardwalk approaches along the southern section of the trail system. We will be working with large paving stones to establish a more sustainable surface to account for low-lying trail elevations (rock armory).
Volunteers are asked to wear sturdy shoes and to bring gloves and hydration. The OORC will provide the tools and education.
We'll see you at Lake Fayetteville!
