Our Women Give Back series of volunteer opportunities, designed to empower a community of female trail stewardship. Starting in 2019 we will be hosting seasonal women only volunteer opportunities to build or maintain some of your favorite trails, led by female trail stewards of the OORC. These volunteer opportunities are open to members and non-members alike, and a great way to meet other women trail advocates and users. Our efforts will benefit all trail user groups including hikers, cyclists, trail runners and dog walkers. NO EXPERIENCE necessary. Just wear sturdy shoes and bring gloves and hydration. We will provide the tools and education. In September we will be meeting at the Kessler Mountain Regional Park at 9am to build new trail as part of the OORC’s Kessler Campaign! We will stage at the first parking area as you enter the park (by the playground) and shuttle for easy access to the volunteer opportunity on Spellbound. See you soon!
